As a follow up to our 2010 court refurbishment project in Dominica, KLF partnered with the Peace Corps to hold an Athletics & Academics Camp on the new KLF Court for 130+ at-risk youths from the villages of Grand Fond, Riviere Cyrique, Morne Jaune and Laplaine. Adonal Foyle and a team of 10 volunteers traveled to Dominica to spend the day with the kids, teaching basketball and important life lessons!
As part of our campaign for literacy throughout the Caribbean, KLF held a book fair at the Camp, allowing each child to select a book to take home with them.
