KLF's signature Athletics & Academics Camps program uses basketball as a hook to teach at-risk youths lessons critical to their successful development in adults. Led by Adonal Foyle and a host of passionate volunteers we have so far reached over 5000 at-risk youths throughout the Caribbean.
In 2011, we decided it was time to bring our A&A Camps to America and are setting our sights on Central Florida. By the end of 2012 we hope to have reached over 1000 kids throughout Central Florida! Help us >
Orlando A&A Camp 1: Pine Hils
KLF held our first Athletics & Academics Camp at the Walt Disney World Clubhouse of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Florida on October 27th. 85+ teens at the facility experienced an exciting afternoon led by Adonal Foyle and a host of committed volunteers including Adonal's former Warriors teammate, Tim Young! Teens learned basketball, leadership skills and the importance of reading.

from low-income households
at-risk, meaning that they may not have the ideal family support and need some extra encouragement & support

As part of our campaign for literacy, KLF held a book fair at the Camp, allowing each child to select a book to take home with them to read. We are grateful to Scholastic Book Fairs for donating 120 books for our Pine Hills camp!
