Kerosene Lamp Foundation is excited to announce our 2012 All-Star Student-Athlete Learning Tour in California from July 20 to August 13, 2012!
This summer KLF is bringing 7 of our Student-Athletes from St. Vincent & the Grenadines plus 2 from the Parramore neighborhood in Orlando, FL to California for a three week learning tour that will prove to be the experience of a lifetime for the kids! The kids will start off with a week in the San Francisco Bay Area where they will "camp out" at Adonal's home. After that they will travel to Santa Barbara and Los Angeles for another week. Before closing out their trip back in California and participating in our Athletics & Academics 3-Day Camp for at-risk youths in Oakland.
 Mileage donations covers kids' flights!
Thanks to Brad Johnson (pictured left with Selisha) who donated 150,000 miles, Ron Brockhoff who donated 20,000 miles & Adonal Foyle who matched their mileage donation - we were able to purchase all 8 flights for our All-Stars & a chaperone to fly from the Caribbean to California.

We are so grateful to Ames Research Center, Denise Brosseau, Burr Pilger Mayer, DreamWorks Animation SKG, Eastside College Preparatory High School, Girls Inc., Carolyn Moos, Yerba Buena Center for the Arts and Zynga for already offering to provide exciting educational opportunities for our kids.

All work and no play...
We can't bring our All-Stars to California without giving them a little fun in the sun! Thanks to Yano Rubinstein of Rubinstein Law for donating dinner at Espetus Brazilian Steakhouse!
We are on the search for theater tickets, amusement park tickets, donated dinners, etc. to make sure that the kids also get to play a little too while they are in town (Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, San Francisco). Contact us for more information.
