April 27, 2012, St. Vincent - KLF All-Star Student-Athlete Zanif Sandy graduated from high school today with a string of honors.
Zanif received prizes for excellence in the classroom: Principles of Business and Physical Education. He also received a prize for Best Uniform.
We are so proud of this young man who has participated in our Athletics & Academics Camps since our very first one in 2003. In 2010, we selected him to join our inaugural class of All-Star Student-Athletes and he has done nothing but impress us with his continued enthusiasm, zest for learning and love of basketball. Zanif participates in our weekly basketball clinic, where his coach is quick to name him one of the best on his team for a great work ethic and attitude. It has been a pleasure to have some small part in helping him develop into the fine young man and capable leader that he is today.
Zanif wouldn't be where he is today if not for the strong support from his mother, Ms. Bertina Sandy.
